Welcome to the Crocker/Riverside Band website! Here you will find all of the resources you will need for your child to succeed in band this year. Please begin by filling out the band sign up form which can be found here:

Please fill out the sign-up form prior to attending the Band Parent Night, even if you are unsure about joining band yet.

BAND PARENT NIGHT

At least one parent from each new family must attend the Band Parent Night on Wednesday, September 18th at 6:30pm. If you have a conflict, please notify Mr. Bingen via email (sbingen@gmail.com) as soon as possible. This meeting is geared primarily toward the parents - students are not required to attend.

At Band Parent Night you will: 

• Meet Mr. Bingen and learn about the Crocker/Riverside Band Program

• Rent or Check Out an instrument

• Purchase required books and accessories

You will also:

• Learn what tasks your child must complete before the first day of band.

• Learn about the expectations of each member (in band and at home) 

• Receive concert dates 

• Receive the detailed weekly schedule 

And most importantly...

• Learn what it takes for your child to succeed and have fun!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Additional information about each group can be found here:

• Beginning Band

  • • Anyone new to band or starting a new instrument

    • Returning members switching to Saxophone from Clarinet will start in beginning band and then switch to Advanced Band when it resumes.

• Advanced Band

  • • Everyone who was in band last year and will be continuing on the same instrument
