Advanced Band Info

Students who have completed at least one year of band and are continuing the same instrument will automatically be in Advanced Band the following year. (These students have the option of simultaneously learning a new instrument in Beginning Band).

Advanced Band Families are not required to attend band parent night unless you need to purchase supplies from Kline Music. Mr. Bingen will host a zoom meeting specifically for advanced band families at a later date.

October 5 - 23:  Advanced Band will join the beginning band on specific days depending on their instrument (8:00-8:45am):

Monday: Flutes
Tuesday: Clarinets/Saxophones
Wednesday: Percussion
Thursday: Trumpets/French Horns
Friday: Trombones and Electric Bass

October 26 and beyond:

Advanced Band meets Tuesday and Friday, 8:00 to 8:45am

There is no additional book to purchase this year. We will continue to use the Tradition of Excellence, Book 1 from the first year. Any additional music will be provided by Mr. Bingen.
