Mr. Bingen will use two forms of communication to disseminate information to band parents:

• "Remind" app for shorter messages

• Email distribution for longer/detailed messages

For quick text/email reminders and announcements (140 character limit)

• Parents can choose whether to receive messages via text, email, or through the mobile app

  • Visit Remind.com to create an account, download the app, and manage your notification preferences

  • Download the Apple/iOS app

  • Download the Android app

• Parents can self-signup by texting the group code to 81010

Email

For more lengthy emails with detailed information

I will use "Mailchimp" for composing longer emails with detailed information that won't fit within the 140 character limit of Remind.com. Please be sure to add "sbingen@gmail.com" to your email contacts or safe senders list so that these messages don't get filtered as SPAM. These messages will be distributed to your existing email address - no further action required on your part.
